Ich wird wieder eine Touristin sein!
I finally truly feel excited to be a tourist once again after viewing some photos!
I am departing next sunday to explore Asia, some land that I have not step foot on before :D
after touring europe for half a year, I was sort of ashame of myself... why was I so interested in seeing foreign land but totally ignorant about Asia. Asia is Amazing, in my point of view, we are big and DIVERSE! You know, after a while, (yes I am still a big fan of europe), I gotta admit that europe look more or less the same; be it comparing hundred years ago and now, or comparing one city to the another (practically all european cities have old town n new town).
My plan was to visit Beijing and Shanghai actually, but I am leaving that for a more wholesome china trip in future. I really really really wish to explore china after viewing a travelbook on china. Man, china is huge and actually very DIVERSE! I can sense that you all are giving me the o_O look already.. But lets leave the hygiene problem and details to future.
like i have already told some, i enjoy being a tourist more than actually being at any particular destinations. Because I enjoy observing things with my microscopic ultra touristic lens; favourites gotta be memorizing the map, familiarizing myself with the roads, observing locals interaction w each other, trying out local delights and shopping, in decreasing order.
But it still perplex me how I rush in & out of shopping places, yet more than often the things that I would remember out of the whole travel experience are usually those moments that i didn't think much of.
So... I really hope that I would control and pace myself to TRY not to rush to shop and just observe more and TRY to sightsee more this time round :P
ARGH! I MISS THE FEELING OF PLANNING A LAST MIN TRIP THEN PICK UP MY BACKPACK AND JUST GO EXPLORE!
